Sunset at Le Mont St Michel
For me, the perfect place for travelling is one in which:
- Pretty accessible by trains or underground (I'm a little terrified of travelling on local buses!).
- One grocery store in the street I'm putting up in.. to get all my sandwiches and booze. Ha!
- Good Food readily available! I can't travel to a country where I hate the food. :P
- Wonderful nature! Mountains being my favourite.
- Not too cold! That rules out Quebec for me...
- Helpful locals! Important for getting around!!!!
That's pretty much it for me... what's yours?

Me too!!! They have wonderful sunsets there. Just the nature and the sunset. Perfect combi!
You ask for a lot, don't you? Me, too! I would like to have all that you listed and nice company, especially roommate who doesn't snore!
Yeah.. it's not called a vacation for nothing. It's time to feel good not feeling like a tramp or a herd of sheep being rushed around??
Nature, nature, nature! The fewer the people/the more remote the location, the more I like it. :)
Ha! Sounds just like me. We hate touristy places. That's why we decided to roam all the tourist towns in winter. Really nice!
