Singapore my homeland

What can I tell you about Singapore? There are 4,4 million of us on this tiny island state. As everyone asks me, What is the capital of Singapore? It is Singapore. The size of my country is 704 square kilometres.

When you first touched down in Singapore, you will see the world famous Singapore Changi Airport. I am very proud of our airport as I have travelled through a lot of international airports and seen how they operate. I have to say it is an experience even if you are in transit at our airport. Take a look at our changi airport website to find out more!

To get around our island, you can choose to go by Taxi, Bus or our metro/tube/underground that we called Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT).

We have several outer islands, Pulau Tekong being the largest. Sentosa is our main tourist island. Visit this website to find out what exciting tourist attractions Sentosa offer you!

We do not have many islands but you can still get on a ferry and go island hopping too! You have to see our beautiful Kusu island. For more information on how to get there, visit the website.

If shopping is your cuppa, you can't miss the annual Great Singapore Sale which starts on 25th May to 22nd July this year. See link for more information. You can shop till you drop in Singapore! If you are hungry, there's always a restaurant around the corner. Singapore being an equatorial country is hot all year round. But do not worry, I'm sure you can find an air-conditioned place to hide anywhere. Be it a food court or a bus interchange! Let alone our big shopping malls!

Creative Technology is one of our home grown brand that made it into the international scene. And of course, you shouldn't miss out the big shopping complex - Sim Lim Square - that house the most electronics and computer shops in Singapore! That is why the prices are so competitive!
